Some Bowling Ball Gift Ideas
It is the Holidays, which means — like me — you are probably frantically trying to find the right gifts for all of you bowling loved ones. Thankfully, just about every company has you covered from balls, to bags, to shoes, and accessories.
But what products are worth your investment and which ones should you buy?
Over the next few days, we’re going to get into that extensively. Starting with bowling balls.
As I said moments ago, every company has something for everyone. Whether your loved one is a Brunswick, Storm, Ebonite, or other brand’s fan, there is something for them.
Today, I am going to look at each and every major company’s best ball on the market today so that you know which products would be best to buy for that special someone on your Christmas list.
Storm: Physix. This ball is practically cheating. Never have I seen such a strong, big ball store so much energy. It is a very strong ball, but if that is what you are looking for, look no further. When it comes to high end balls, especially if your loved one is a Storm fan, you cannot do any better than this one.
Global 900: Honey Badger – Any of them honestly, this line is very versatile and some of the best rolling balls out right now. If you are looking for a certain reaction in your bag most likely one of the Badger line can fill it.
Roto Grip: Hyper Cell Fused. It is incredible. It is as good as any bowling ball you will find on this list. If you need a big, clean, strong ball, this is it.
Brunswick: Vapor Zone. Period. One of the best balls I have thrown this year. If you are looking for a great Brunswick ball, this is the one for you. It lives up to its predecessors name.
DV8: Hitman Enforcer. This ball is underrated. I haven’t seen too many of them on the lanes yet, but it offers great performance wrapped up in a great looking color scheme. If you or your loved one is looking for a great rolling ball, or a great looking ball, this one could be for you — or them.
Radical: Katana Slash. It isn’t that new, but it is that good. They have some other good ones to choose from, but this is still the cream of the crop.
Ebonite: GB3 Pearl. Like all of the Gamebreaker balls, it is good. You don’t need me to tell you that. If you’re in the market for an Ebonite ball, pick this one up. The GB legacy continues to grow.
Hammer: Web/Web Tour. You can’t really go wrong with either of them. It comes down to what you or your loved one is looking for. But, at the end of the day, it is a Hammer ball, which means it is going to roll well, hit hard, and strike a lot.
Track: Kinetic Amethyst. Great value for the price. I have been a big fan of all of the Kinetics, and this one is no different. If medium-dry conditions are giving you problems, this may be the ball for you.
Columbia 300: Eruption Pro. Again, like the Katana Slash, I know it has been out awhile, but it is just flat out good. And it is still worth your investment, especially if you want a Columbia 300 ball.
Motiv: T-10 Limited Edition. What. A. Ball. Totally different than any other Motiv ball on the market today. Homerun from them. For sure the best Motiv ball since the OG Venom Shock. Highly recommend if you are a Motiv fan — or even if you arent.
