Real Life Bowling Podcast Episode 1
With Anthony Caso and Chris Polizzi
[addthis tool=”addthis_inline_share_toolbox”]Welcome To The RealLife Bowling Podcast
We have used this first podcast is an introduction to our channel and to ourselves. The main point was to share information and our experience with bowlers of all skill levels. We touch on topics anywhere from layouts to ball motion and what it’s like bowling on tour. We offer a unique perspective, being that we are both pro-shop operators. Because of this, we are able to give you yet another perspective from that side of the industry. We wanted this first introduction to be as organic as possible, which is why we chose not to have certain points we wanted to touch upon. Having known each other for years we felt this was the best way to approach this podcast to keep it as natural as possible.
Things We Will Discuss In The Show
We touch on our own personal equipment and our layouts as well as layouts for customers. We offer perspective on what it’s like bowling on multiple levels and seeing different conditions on the lanes. What it’s like to figure out and study ball motions in order to see what layouts actually do. We touch on pin up and pin down balls and how they change core dynamics and motion on the lane. It’s Important to remember that everyone may not see or understand how we explain these things, and that is okay. What is most important is that you need to be aware of what is happening with YOUR game.
We touch on bowling in different environments and against all different levels of competition. From league to local to regional and national levels, we have bowled it all. We discuss the mindset and skillset that make the best in the world, the best in the world. We go over how lane play at an elite level is drastically different then what you may be used to at home. This ties into how difficult it is to win on tour and how those guys are truly the best of the best.
We touch on personal triumphs and struggles we have both been through and the mental pitfalls that go along with bowling. We talk about the concept that at the elite level it is more mental than it is physical. How qualifying vs. a one-game match on tv are drastically different. And, how players shouldn’t be judged on a one-game performance. We end by talking about what our future plans are for the channel and the potential for our bowling careers.
