900 Global Reality Bowling Ball Breakdown

The 900 Global Reality features the S84 Response solid coverstock and strong asymmetric Disturbance core.  Angel’s layout as always is 5 x 3 ½ x 3 ½, putting the pin above her bridge and kicking the mass bias out a couple inches, mine is 4 ¾ x 3 ½ x 3 ½, putting the pin in my ring finger and kicking the mass bias out to the side.  S84 is Global’s strongest cover out right now, and it reminds me a lot of GI-17 from the Sure Lock, the whole package has Sure Lock vibes, and it comes at 2000 grit.  The asymmetric Disturbance core comes in at a 2.49 RG, .052 differential and an .018 split or intermediate differential in 15 pounds.  It’s extremely windy and continuous, it feels almost like the RAD4 core from the Code series or if the Velocity core from the Phaze series was asymmetric.  The Reality has a very strong revving climbing type motion that seems to build momentum or accelerate as it rolls down the lane.  It’s strong and quite responsive at the same time, and if you can’t get this ball to hook, corner, or continue, it’s time to invest some money in lessons instead of bowling balls.  The Reality gets a 10 on hook, 5 on length, and 5 on backend strength.  It’s on par with the Proton PhysiX for hook, and similar to the RST X-1 on length and backend strength.  Select the next comparison you’d like to see from the links on the screen or scroll down to the description to find links to other choices.  Thanks for watching and may the strikes be with you.

The ALL-NEW Reality brings a solid version of the incredibly strong S84 Response cover to the table. Combined with a revolutionary core, the Reality will be the strongest ball 900 Global offers!

The S84 Response solid cover utilizes a technology that promotes up to 20% larger pore sizes. By offering this cover in a 2000 Abralon finish, we have ensured maximum traction in the heaviest of oil. The Reality will rival the original Volatility in terms of overall hook.

The Disturbance Asymmetric core creates asymmetry by having differing shapes on the bottom and top of the weight block. This core was designed with a focus on a shape that will fill a space with the least amount of material, yet still yield the RG/Diff values that all bowlers demand.
