900 Global Eternity Pi Review! New Strongest Solid Bowling Ball!
900 Global Eternity Pi: A Strong and Versatile Asymmetrical Solid
The 900 Global Eternity Pi is a new asymmetrical solid bowling ball that promises to deliver a strong and continuous motion down the lane. Featuring the same Epoch asymmetric core as the original Eternity, the Eternity Pi boasts a low RG of 2.49, a high differential of 0.050, and a high-medium PSA of 0.014. These core characteristics, combined with the Reserve Batch 901 solid coverstock finished at 2000 grit, create a ball that is both early and rolly, with a high hook potential.
In the video, Luis Napoles tests the Eternity Pi on a typical house shot and immediately notices its smooth and continuous motion. He compares the ball’s reaction to that of the Reality, another strong asymmetrical solid from 900 Global, and observes that the Eternity Pi is slightly earlier and smoother. Napoles highlights the ball’s ability to “scoot” down the lane and maintain its energy, rather than hooking sharply and losing momentum. This continuous motion allows the ball to shape through the pins, creating a powerful and effective strike pocket.
Napoles also emphasizes the Eternity Pi’s versatility. He notes that the ball responds well to changes in hand position, allowing bowlers to adjust their shot shape based on lane conditions. He demonstrates this by throwing the ball with both a forward and a more rounded release, achieving consistent results in both scenarios. This adaptability makes the Eternity Pi a valuable tool for bowlers of all styles, particularly those who prefer a strong and controllable ball motion.
900 Global Eternity Pi Bowling Ball
The Eternity Pi represents a new option for heavy oil performance in the Global lineup. The ALL-NEW Reserve Blend 901 Cover with its 2000-Grit Abralon finish will provide you with great traction through the front part of the lane. Combined with the Epoch Asymmetric Core, this new offering will give you a heavy oil ball with a completely different motion than our other proven 900 Series heavy oil option, the Reality.
THE EPOCH ASYMMETRIC
The Epoch Asymmetric Core from the original Eternity makes its return to the Global arsenal. With a design inspired by the original Break Core found in so many classic Global releases, this core gives the player that great asymmetric shape on the lanes. Additionally, the moderate amount of intermediate differential will keep the core from “locking up” or losing energy too quickly.
RESERVE BLEND 901 SOLID COVERSTOCK
The Reserve Blend 901 Solid Cover has been hand-crafted to give you a different look versus the previously used S84 Response that was utilized on so many 900 Series releases. While still very much a strong cover, expect to see a cleaner motion through the front part of the lane when comparing to S84 Response. This was necessary due to the strength of the Epoch Core and to differentiate this heavy oil ball from the Reality.
