BowlersMart Opens New Location in Jacksonville, FL

May 27, 2015 – Hudson, FL – BowlersMart continues to grow its business across the nation, and has opened a new store location inside Batt Family Fun Center in Jacksonville, FL. Managing this location is a familiar face to the area, Michael Cousins.

“The Jacksonville market was one that we thought to be underserved from a retail perspective,” said Jeff Ussery, Vice President of Operations at BowlersMart. “After speaking with bowling center management, we made the decision to open this location, and things have started off extremely well,” added Ussery. A complete remodel of the BowlersMart Jacksonville pro shop the space was finished in early May by Cousins and Cliff Barnes, the president of BowlersMart.

Cousins is a widely known amateur player who has training in the pro shop industry. “I had already been doing some pro shop work on the side, just helping out whoever I could. When I found out there was going to be a fully operational store here in the center, I jumped at the opportunity to get involved. We’ve been extremely busy so far, and I’m really excited to see what this store can do when fall leagues come back and see us for the first time.”
