  • PIN LOCATION: Pin to PAP distance of 1-1/2” to 2”
  • FLARE POTENTIAL: Low

2 - leverage layout

  • BALL MOTION: Maximum hook.
  • PIN LOCATION: Pin to PAP distance of 3-3/8”
  • FLARE POTENTIAL: High

3 - length and backend layout

  • BALL MOTION: Length and less hook.
  • PIN LOCATION: Pin to PAP distance of 4-1/2”
  • FLARE POTENTIAL: Medium

4 - length layout

  • BALL MOTION: Length and less hook.
  • PIN LOCATION: Pin to PAP distance of 5” to 5-1/2”
  • FLARE POTENTIAL: Low

  • PAP TO MB: 4” (10cm)

ANGLE METHOD:

  • DRILLING ANGLE: 40°
  • PIN TO PAP: 4” (10cm)
  • VAL ANGLE: 40°

2 - midlane hook and backend asymmetrical layout

TRADITIONAL METHOD:

  • PIN TO PAP: 5” (13cm)
  • PAP TO MB: 5” (13cm)
  • BUFFER: 4.5” (11cm)

ANGLE METHOD:

  • DRILLING ANGLE: 60°
  • PIN TO PAP: 5” (13cm)

3 - length and backend asymmetrical layout
