900 Global Zen Master Bowling Ball Does Not Disappoint
So I know this one was highly anticipated, and I promise not to disappoint. I think you can gather that nothing for us has really changed since the review, I even drilled a second one with a different layout, and for us it’s just not better than anything else in any of the lines in that same category or slot in the bag. I do want to give a big shout out to everyone who actually understood the jokes for what they were though, I gave it the regular fair shake in the review and a couple rated rumbles after that, then decided to use it as a punching bag.
Those of you that have been here a while know that I do that, and that I’m not saying it’s a bad ball period, it’s obviously a goat for a ton of people, especially those that want early and smooth control.
The ZM is kind of like an IQ Tour for the high speed crowd, just rolls up in the right spot and walks in, I’ve seen it be really successful for a lot of high speed two handers, it just controls literally everything. If I need that type of a look however, I’m in an Axiom or Phaze 2, the ZM is just too much too early for me, and if Angel needs that type of look, she’s got an IQ Tour that stays at 1 or 2000, the ZM is just too much ball for her lower speed period.
While it’s quite a bit earlier and stronger than the Zen, it definitely shares the same shape, and if you need a big ball that’s insanely controllable, the Zen Master is it. Thanks for watching and may the strikes be with you.

The S77 Response™ Solid Coverstock was the obvious choice to follow up on the success of the S77 Response™ pearl coverstock. The Solid version of this cover will provide the most overall hook we have ever put in the 800 Series. The Zen Master™ will be a great ball to use on medium-heavy patterns.
The Meditate™ Core is the biggest core we have ever put into a bowling ball!! A bigger core means more hitting power combined with a more consistent reaction. Throughout testing the Meditate™ Core provided that wide “footprint on the lane that all bowlers love to see. The Zen Master™ pushes the limits of core dynamics.
